Rhythm of the the Rockies was blessed with 10 hours of coaching from Joey Minshall, coach and arranger extraordinaire. A large group of the chorus was able to spend these incredible hours working on freer singing and throwing footballs of sound. How fun!!!
This wonderful artform that we sing,
is incredible in its ring!

Rhythm of the Rockies had the pleasure of performing at the Calgary Elks Lodge for the NuGrads yesterday evening. Besides our regular songs, we sang one of our competition songs for them as well. We had fun singing with them an acappella version of The Lion Sleeps to Night. How fun! Smiles all around and a lovely standing ovation. Thank you for allowing us to entertain you in our upbeat, vivacious style.
What a time we had- dusting off some of our old Christmas repertoire and even learning a new one!
We are getting ready for our non- auditioned #AcappellaXmas starting September 6 and running to the end of November. We love to share our passion and knowledge of singing a cappella and anticipate making some new friends.
We also had some guests visit which couldn't make us happier.
We look forward to seeing some of you on the risers on September 6th.
Once again, Rhythm of the Rockies score at regionals has qualified us for the big International competition in Las Vegas held at the MGM Grand. We are humbly honored to be a representative of the region while we take to the Garden Arena stage and compete with 33 other choruses. With a seating capacity of 10,000 and worldwide streaming video, Rhythm of the Rockies will bring our 2 competition songs to life for a few short minutes while awaiting the phenomenal feedback of 8 international judges. Talk about a wondrous opportunity to keep on learning the art of singing a Cappella and moving an audience.
