We Have A NEW Director!
We are delighted to announce that the incredibly talented, Jo-Anne Killips, has accepted the role as our front-line Director! Please join us in welcoming this wonderful woman to the role of Music Director for Rhythm of the Rockies!
Jo-Anne brings such a wealth of skill and knowledge to this role. If she looks familiar, well she certainly is to many members in Sweet Adelines and the barbershop world. This fabulous soul has been with performing with the organization for 30 years and is a founding member of Rhythm of the Rockies. She is our very own choreographer and baritone extraordinaire! She has held active roles in various management and music teams and is currently the baritone in the entertaining quartet - Zenergy! Jo-Anne, or Jo as she's known to most of us, isn’t new to directors’ spotlight as she directed one of our largest shows, Life is a Highway, in 2017. And since 2020, she has been directing and enthusiastically supporting us through the challenging “covid era” of on-line rehearsals. We are looking forward to having Jo direct our chorus for Regionals 2022! Please join us in warmly congratulating Jo as our front-line Director!
