Rhythm of the Rockies was once again blessed to be a part of the citizenship ceremony held at Heritage Park- this year on Heritage Day!

Rhythm of the Rockies was honored and blessed to perform at Heritage Park for the citizenship ceremony where 105 new Canadians took their oaths and then sang again in front of the Wainwright hotel.

Thanks to the chorus, our quartets- No Strings, Zenergy, Ambrosia, VOX, Quartz, our special guests the Heebee-jeebees and all the "behind the scenes" people.

The Western Canada- Region 26 competition is over and Rhythm of the Rockies would like to congratulate Westcoast Harmony and Glow quartet for their first-place finishes.

Rhythm of the Rockies started with just 7 women rehearsing in a basement! Eight months later, on April 16th, 2002, it earned its charter as a chapter of Sweet Adelines International- a record speed at the time. By May of that year, there were 31 members, ready to sing for the region at the 2002 Regional competition.

Rhythm of the Rockies experienced a weekend of vocal and performance coaching by this amazingly gifted, focused, brilliant musician, director, coach, and arranger.

With the assistance of the Calgary Foundations Unique Opportunity Grant, Rhythm of the Rockies welcomed Mo Field on her return to Canada from Sweden.
